A few years ago, I would never have believed that over-the-knee boots could be a completely mainstream accessory. Thigh-high boots automatically made me think of Julia Roberts' charming, witty (if not very believable) character in Pretty Woman. But then something happened, and thigh-high boots started to look downright normal. This flat version fills the same niche in my wardrobe as my riding boots, and it's been nice having another pair of comfortable, snow-worthy boots to add into the weekend rotation.
