This is a look that I wore to a birthday event for my mom with some of her friends from high school and college. I decided to give a nod to her youthful style with a little blue eye liner, and a matching ring that I can remember her wearing when I was a little girl. Of course, my throw back could only go so far, and I decided to forgo the perm that she was rocking back in the '80s.
I had such a fun time getting to see my mama with her sweet friends, and felt comforted by the knowledge that getting older can look so gorgeous! Happy early birthday, Mom!
