Runway to Reality: Michael Kors Spring 2013

One of the biggest trends on the Spring 2013 runways was stripes, and another huge trend was black and white. This gorgeous look from the Michael Kors show incorporates both.

While I would absolutely love to pluck these pieces right off the runway and wear them immediately, that's not happening any time soon. Luckily, this look would be so simple to re-create on a much smaller budget. Just find a striped top and tuck it into a skirt with different-sized stripes in the same color. Throw on a belt and voila! You're looking chic and elegant. (Bonus points if you swipe on some blue eye shadow).
