I took a mini trip to New Orleans this spring break, and taking inspiration from Lauren's summer honeymoon wardrobe, packed breezy button ups and comfy shoes. To avoid my usual catastrophe of over packing, I only brought clothes in yellows and blues (with a smattering of neutrals) so that everything could be mixed and matched, and I never needed to change purses. On this day, I mostly explored the beautiful French Quarter, pigging out on delicious beignets, muffaletta, and raw oysters. These pictures were actually taken in the most scenic alleyway I've ever seen, against the walls of the Faulkner House, home to a lovely bookshop with the prettiest editions of tons of my favorite books.

I'm jealous, Sam! I love New Orleans. We considered stopping on our way back from TX but after 10 days away we were ready to get home. And you look adorable as always!

Cute! That door is so pretty, it makes a great background. I can't wait for spring break...it's a week and a half away!
