Product Review: Footzyfolds

Recently, the gals (who also happen to be sisters!) over at Footzyrolls gave me a pair of Footzyfolds to try out. They're a new addition to their lineup of compact, comfy shoes, but instead of rolling up, these fold in half to be stored in your purse, desk drawer, glove compartment, or other tight spaces.

As a teacher who, perhaps foolishly, often wears heels to work, I can definitely relate to the need for a change of shoes. Sometimes my feet just can't take it any more! I used to keep a pair of slippers at work, but these are a much cuter option. Even better, they have an actual sole and can be worn outdoors. I can honestly say that I found these shoes quite comfortable, and I can see myself slipping them on to run a few quick errands, head to the pool, or check the mail. The bright stripes are so adorable! Have you ever tried rollable (or foldable) shoes? What has your experience been with them? If you like this particular pair, it's called the Hamptons, and it's $42.

Full Disclosure: While I received these shoes for free to try, the pictures and opinions are my own. I received no compensation for this post.

Those are actually so cute, they don't even look like a fold up shoe

It's difficult for me to get into flats because, although they are generally comfortable and well-meaning, they are usually not inventive enough as far as design goes, and ends up looking no-brainer. In addition to the colorful stripes, I think that they need to add more interesting cuts and material to this one. I'm also not sure if the sole is worth the price. Overall, these seem like they need to get more creative in order to stand apart from Chinese slippers and comfortable shoes of this kind that otherwise risk looking grandmotherly.
