Although it wasn't on my mind as I was getting dressed, I realized pretty quickly that I had chosen a very ballerina-inspired outfit. Between the bateau neckline of this top (that almost looks like it could be a leotard), flare of my skirt, ballet flats, and even the bun in my hair, I'm pretty sure this outfit tells the world that I wish I could dance en pointe. If only. I have the flexibility of an arthritic elephant and the grace of a dizzy puppy. That's why fashion is so fun--I may not be able to dance like a ballerina, but I can dress like one if I feel like it.
