Twin Styled: Summer Work Look

Summer Work Style

I work much less during the summer than I do during the school year (yay), but on those days when I do work, I am always faced with a dilemma: what can I wear on this 3rd degree burn from touching the seat belt hot day? It is a huge challenge here in the south to find clothing that is both work and weather appropriate. But, as much as I wish I could perform therapy in my bathing suit, it just isn't going to fly, so here are some more socially acceptable options that I've found.

First of all, I am all about flowy skirts and dresses during the summer to catch any stray breezes. I also switch to more sleeveless blouses, and stay away from anything that is remotely tight. And since I'm wearing fewer layers, I like to put on plenty of accessories to add interest. My job allows me to wear sandals, but if you don't have the luxury of being free-toed, slip on wedges are a cute summery option. Finish it off with a bright manicure, and you're good to go!

How does your work wardrobe change in the hotter months?
