Daily Look: Great Smoky Mountains

I kept it simple and casual for a day of sightseeing, hiking, and being goofy in Cades Cove, a gorgeous part of Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. We saw log cabins and churches from the early 1800s, insanely beautiful scenery, and even a white-tailed doe chillin' out in the middle of the woods. I also tried my hand at some land logrolling, but, sadly for you, my husband did not have his camera out when I fell flat on my you-know-what. Turns out that travelling by log is neither the easiest nor most efficient mode of transportation. Who knew?
