This season, I'll be on the lookout for some not-so-basic basics. I want items that I'll get a lot of use out of, but that have fun and interesting details. Like Sam, my number one must-have is a pair of low-heeled (but not completely flat) booties. Beyond that, I'd love a peplum blouse, a blazer in a fun color, a pair of waxed jeans, and a high-waisted miniskirt. As far as accessories go, bring on the studs! Finally, I'd love some cobalt blue nail polish because, like dessert, I always have room for more nail polish!
Are you a list-maker, or do you just buy things as you find them?

I meant to put a peplum blouse on my list too! And I think I own that nail polish haha!
