With today's outfit, I decided to try out some tone-on-tone colorblocking. As my old coloring books will show, I've always loved pairing light and dark shades of the same color. It's kind of a no-brainer, because colors obviously look good with themselves. My trusty green belt broke up all the blue, which kept this from looking like a jumpsuit (I hope). Do you ever colorblock like this, or do you prefer to pair complementary shades?

Love this look! Great idea to break up the color with the belt.
