As part of red ribbon week (yes, it's still going strong), we had a dress up like a super hero day at work on Wednesday. I don't have a ton of capes and masks in my closet, but I was determined to participate, so I decided to break out my minimalist Halloween costume a few days early and claim to be Cat Woman. Yes, she may be more of a villain than a hero, but she's in comic books and I already had the ears! It also gave me a way to wear my traditional Halloween sweatshirt without breaking the spirit-wear only rule on Fridays.
I'm sure a lot of my coworkers thought I was cuckoo, but the kids were big fans. It's kind of fun being a kitty cat for the day! Meow!
