Sweater, Skirt, Earrings: Loft // Boots: Banana Republic // Bracelets: Francesca's
I'm a big fan of the pattern mixing trend, but until now I hadn't realized that this sweater and skirt could work together. By chance, I moved this skirt near this sweater in my closet and realized that they were a perfect combination. Even though both of the patterns are fairly noticeable and large, I think this works (without looking overly fashion-y or jarring) because the skirt and sweater are such similar colors, and also because the colors are fairly muted.
