This outfit turned out to be successful and unsuccessful. I loved the green top with the bluish green pants, and was especially fond of using Lauren's necklace to dress it up. However, jeans in the summer? In Texas? I must be crazy. When I walked out wearing this outfit, Lauren took one look at me and said that it was way too hot. Did I listen? Well, eventually I did, but not right away. It took baking in the sun to convince me that shorts and short sleeves are clearly the more appropriate choices.
