As Lauren said in yesterday's post, we were included in my friend Stephanie's wedding recently, and this is what I wore to the rehearsal. I didn't pack anything that would have suited the occasion on my extended stay in the Woodlands, so I had an excuse to raid Lauren's closet. The rehearsal itself went off without a hitch, and was followed by some life changing brisket at a really cool venue in the Fort Worth Stockyards. It was a bit risky to wear a white shirt that wasn't even mine to eat barbeque, but I'll tell you what, I wouldn't have let any of that deliciousness go anywhere but my mouth!
It was wonderful catching up with Stephanie and her family, and looking at old pictures in a slideshow that they had put together. And I even got a tiny poodle made by the groom's professional balloon artist uncle. Oh yeah, and did I mention the amazing brisket?
