I am wearing this all-over pattern to a shower where I get to meet my cousin's baby, Jovan, for the first time. I can't wait!
This has truly been a week for shopping my family member's closets. Both of the shirts from earlier in the week were once Lauren's, and this dress gave my mom a case of buyer's remorse until I offered to give it a new home. I sometimes get items from her for only a short time, because she often wants them back as soon as she sees them on me. I know I have felt the same way about things I have given to Lauren in the past. What is it about someone else wanting your stuff that makes it suddenly look so much cooler?

How do you like the Aldo shoes? I, as a male, used to buy a lot of dress shoes from there until they really started to fall apart. I've had "longevity" issues with them. But otherwise kudos for the attire!
Lauren's husband had a pair of sneakers that really fell apart, but I have 4 pairs that are going strong.
Probably just the mens shoes then. Lame. I love fashion and am having a super hard time trying to find a good pair of men's shoes.
Kirby--My husband generally gets his shoes from endless.com. They carry tons of different brands and have good deals. Nordstrom is another good option--they have a nice selection, though they don't always have good deals. As far as specific brands, he likes Kenneth Cole and Calibrate for dress shoes and boots.

this is one of my favorite sammy dresses. I love it with those killer shoes!
