Dress: Modcloth // Sweater: Anthropologie // Shoes: Bandolino via Endless // Earrings: Francesca's // Necklace: Gift // Rings: Vintage
I wore this outfit to a friend's rehearsal dinner last weekend. Of course, when I arrived and realized that it would be taking place in a field, I quickly ditched my sweater. Summer in Texas can be pretty brutal, but by the time the sun started to set and a cool breeze got going, it turned out to be a beautiful evening.
It was so pretty out in the country, with the cows mooing and fireflies lighting up the night. Plus we enjoyed the very Texan scenery while eating a quintessentially Texan meal--chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, biscuits, and chocolate pie, YUM! A few fewer mosquitoes and I would call it a perfect night. I'm still itching!

Mosquitos are the worst! At least you had that adorable poodle cardigan on to cover your arms. I love it!
