It's the most wonderful time of the year and time for one of my favorite posts! Planning for what to wear to a holiday party happens weeks in advance for the Fisk twins (along with every other event that gives us an excuse to dress up). For my inspiration look this year, I considered going off-book and choosing a non-holiday color for the dress, but I just couldn't do it. Red, green, gold, and silver may be expected, but that doesn't mean you can't stand out while wearing them.
For this look, I started with a full-skirted dress since those are the easiest to pair with tights if it is chilly out. I added some feminine accessories, cute heels, and, of course, a red lip. A motorcycle jacket gives the look just enough edge to help you pull off some slightly kitschy earrings--it's Christmas, we don't need to take ourselves too seriously, right?

I totally agree! My office holiday party is tomorrow, and my outfit has been hanging on a hook in my closet for weeks :) The best part!
