Sam bought this money symbol-printed blouse at the Original Penguin store in New York during a family vacation the summer after our freshman year of college. She passed the shirt down to me, and even though it's been nearly a decade, I still love it, with its puff sleeves, necktie, and fun pattern. Plus, every time I wear it, it reminds me of our trip. Clothes make the best souvenirs! This shirt is way better than a junky tchotchke.
